We're Supporting The Charity Gaming Guild in 2026!

Find your party, play D&D, raise money for charity! - Find out more about The Charity Gaming Guild Below :) The Charity Gaming Guild: Turning Dice Rolls into Real-World Good

The Charity Gaming Guild is a UK-registered charity bringing people together through tabletop gaming to raise money for causes that matter. Founded in 2021, the Guild was created around a simple idea: if people are already gathering to play games like Dungeons & Dragons, why not use that time to do some good as well?

Run entirely by volunteers, The Charity Gaming Guild hosts regular gaming events across the UK, welcoming players of all experience levels. Whether you’re a seasoned dungeon-delver or rolling dice for the first time, every game helps raise funds for smaller charities that often struggle to get wider support.

What makes the Guild different is that the community decides where the money goes. Members nominate charities each year, vote on the final choice, and then spend the year fundraising through events, donations, and special gaming days.

The support that the Guild has generated so far has grown year on year, supporting some incredible charitable organisations:

·       2021: St Elizabeths Hospice were granted £1,214.00

·       2022: Ipswich Hospital Children’s Appeal were granted £4,804.31

·       2023: The Mix were granted £6,179.20

·       2024: Adapt Prem Babies were granted £9,274.52

·       2025: The James Anthony Foundation were granted £11,091.32

This totals a massive £32,563.35

Gaming with a Purpose

The Guild runs a wide range of events, from short one-shot adventures to full-day and even 12-hour marathon games. These events are designed to be fun, welcoming, and story-driven, with the added bonus that every ticket sold supports a good cause.

For 2026 these events include:

·Elite Adventures – 9th May 2026

·2026 Suffolk Adventure Day – 13th June 2026

·2026 Campaign Day: Subterranean Empire – 1st August 2026

·The Rise of the Ancients – 21st November 2026

Alongside events, the Guild also produces The Nat Pun Gamers Podcast, a relaxed, community-led show covering tabletop gaming, stories from the table, and conversations with people who support the Guild’s work.

Supporting Ending Life’s Taboo in 2026

For 2026, The Charity Gaming Guild is supporting Ending Life’s Taboo, a charity providing end-of-life counselling and support for young adults facing terminal illness. The organisation focuses on helping people talk openly about death, grief and uncertainty, subjects that are often avoided, but deeply important.

Funds raised throughout the year will help expand access to these vital services and support those going through some of life’s hardest moments.

What’s Coming Up

Planned events for 2026 include immersive one-shot adventures, campaign days set in the Guild’s shared world, large charity gaming days, and sponsored epic sessions designed to push players (and characters) to their limits, all in the name of charity. The best part? Anyone can join in! It doesn’t matter if you’re a seasoned adventurer, a fledgling beginner picking up again after a break!

Get Involved

The Charity Gaming Guild is always happy to welcome new players, volunteers, sponsors and supporters. You can get involved by joining an event, helping behind the scenes, spreading the word, or just showing up to roll some dice for a good cause.
